The company changed its name to PANTECNICA S.A. in 1976 with the opening of markets in hoist units, cranes, special steels, hospital equipment and didactic material.
In 1984 the chemical products and Energy industry equipment division was created.
In 1985 the company opens a branch in Cali, at that time, MATELCO, MACALZADO and DISTRIBUIDORA PANTECNICA were the companies of the Business Group.
